Spring Advising for FALL 2016
ART BEE/coLAB (A Group)
Hello A Group.
Hope the ART BEE is going great. Just a couple reminders.
Materials are shared. So once you are finished with thread, scissors, needles or fabric, please place neatly back in clear boxes in the common area.
Sewing Machines are awesome yet can break easily. If one stops working, please tape a sign saying FIX ME on it.
24 Hours for Each Action. Hand over at 8am each morning. Put project in bag, add name of person it is going to and either hand it to them or hang on wall in Cohen (between two closets).
Here is the ACTION LIST. ACTIONS
Here is the WHO to HAND IT OFF TO CHART. Remember that you are following only the row with your name in the furthest left column.
And if you need a copy of the worksheet, download it here ART BEE WORKSHEET
Good Luck!

Want to be in print?
You are invited to submit your artwork, writing and poems to the Gandy Dancer. They publish the works by students of the SUNY system (which includes us!) and they’d love to see what you are up to!
Go to gandy dancer to learn more or to amazon to order your own copy. Submission deadline is February 24.
PS. There were some beautiful blackout poems last week!

Yay! $$$ for the Japan Trip!
This just in from Dr. Jones! If you are in the B-block course/trip Encountering Japan… you may be able to find some help to defray costs. Read on:

Two awards of $2,000 each will be available. These are merit-based awards for students with a demonstrated interest in Japanese culture as well as art history and/or business. These awards are made possible by the Levine Endowment, created by Steve ’61 and Michiko Levine to encourage and support the interaction of Alfred University and Asian cultures. The deadline for applications is 5pm February 12, 2016.
